Our commitment to supporting the well-being of communities in which we work and live is deep-rooted, and we look forward to continuing to build our legacy of support.
United Way of Greater Toronto

We are proud of our longstanding support of the United Way of Greater Toronto (UWGT). Over the course of 30 years, our United Way campaigns, organized by employee volunteers, have raised over $15 million in support of local United Way agencies.

In addition to our employee payroll deduction campaign, several fundraising events, including the annual CN Tower Stair Climb, contribute additional funds to Apotex’s annual donation to UWGT.

Humber River Hospital

The new Humber River Hospital opened in 2015 with an Emergency Department that bears the Apotex name—the result of a transformational gift made by our organization, enabling this community hospital to provide care to thousands of patients annually.

Academia

Over the last 20 years, we have invested more than $20 million in universities across Canada, as well as providing equipment for use in their labs. Our commitment to academia is also reflected through our APOcampus program, which provides a hands-on learning experience encompassing co-op, internships, graduates and post-graduate placements.
