Martin Arès

Martin Arès is the President, Apotex Canada and Rest of World (ROW), responsible for our Canadian commercial portfolio, consisting of Canadian Generics, Brands, Biosimilars and Consumer Health segments, while also providing executive oversight over the ROW business.

Martin brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience across specialty pharma, generics, biosimilars and medical devices. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Pharmascience Inc. Before joining Pharmascience, Martin held executive roles at Sandoz in Canada and the United States and senior commercial roles at Sanofi. Earlier, Martin spent 15 years with Roche Diagnostics in Canada, Switzerland and Sweden, including serving as General Manager in Sweden.

Martin holds degrees in finance and marketing from HEC Montréal. He is bilingual in French and English and is a committed mentor who values continuous learning and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
