Apotex Sends Essential Antibiotics and Analgesics to the Philippines

Apotex, working with Plan Canada, is sending essential antibiotics and analgesics to the Philippines to help thousands of people impacted by the typhoon. Shipments are leaving this week. Last week we also provided and shipped medicine to the "Red Cross Mobile Hospital".

Aim 2012 – From Apotex to London

Thanks to the support of sponsors such as Apotex Inc., disabled athletes from the IKS "Smok" Lotos Apotex Orneta Club were able to take part in nearly 30 sports competitions in 2011, including the Polish National Championships, the World Championships and the World Cup... finally gaining a place at this year's London 2012 Paralympic Games!

Eleven medals in Polish Championships

In March 2010 our company established cooperation with disabled sports athletes – in addition to Yachtsmen (Apotex Sailing Team) and Footballers (Apotex Football Team). Nineteen athletes representing the "SMOK LOTOS" Sports Integration Club from Orneta are mainly wheelchair riders and runners. Despite their physical impairments they create and promote initiatives, attitudes and activities favouring development of sport and recreation of the disabled.

Apotex for Disabled Athletes

Five Years of Apotex Sailing Team

Cooperation of Włodzimierz Radwaniecki's team with Apotex dates back to 2003. The team consisting of: Skipper: Włodzimierz Radwaniecki is a graduate of the Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk, Department of Training, sailing specialization. He is a Polish representative in the Olympic Finn Class of many year's standing. He holds the titles of the Polish Champion of 1991, the Finnish Vice-Champion of 1998, the Polish Vice-Champion, to name just the most important of his achievements in the Finn Class. Piotr Kucharski and Maciej Felski have for many years entered races as a team, initially in the Omega Class and currently in the Skippi650 Class, winning gold, silver and bronze medals.
