In April 2004, Apotex Inc, acquired Katwijk Farma in the Netherlands. In October 2008, Katwijk Farma BV changed its name to Apotex Netherlands BV. Today, Apotex sells a broad product portfolio of Rx medicines and OTC products in the Netherlands.

Our mission is to be a part of one of the world's most successful independent pharmaceutical companies in research and development, quality, manufacturing, sales and customer service.

Over the coming years, the Dutch pharmaceutical industry will undergo rapid transformation as medical resources continue to be stretched and added pressure is placed on the healthcare system. At Apotex, we believe that a pharmaceutical company's ability to adapt to these changes will provide a true indication of its sustainability in the market place.

Apotex's key focus is to build and maintain relationships with our customers through the development of value added pharmacy programs and materials, coupled with a sound business offering. In addition, continued investment in our people and further involvement of our management systems will ensure that our business is equipped with products, knowledge and support required for a sustainable future.
