Dark red, round, biconvex, film-coated tablets, engraved "APO" over "ULTRA" on one side, plain on the other side.

Indications:

Acetaminophen Headache Ultra Relief acts quickly to provide effective relief of headache pain (including mild to moderate migraine and tension headache); arthritis pain; pain due to muscle sprains and strains; pain of menstrual cramps; minor aches and pains due to flu; and fever; and is unlikely to cause stomach upset.

Directions:

Adults (12 years and older): 1-2 tablets every 4 hours as required. It is hazardous to exceed 8 tablets per day unless advised by a physician.

Not a standard dosage unit product. Do not use in children under 12 years of age. Do not take this product if allergic to acetaminophen. If rash or itching occur, talk to a doctor.

Cautions:

Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough drug to seriously harm a child. If fever persists for more than 3 days or pain for more than 5 days, talk to a doctor. Use only as directed by a doctor.

The recommended dose of this product contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Limit the amount of caffeine containing medication, beverages (coffee, tea, colas) or foods (chocolate) as too much caffeine may cause nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness and occasionally, rapid heart rate.

For occasional use only. Not intended to be used as a substitute for sleep.

Drug Interactions:

A physician or pharmacist should be consulted prior to taking this medication in case of: allergy to acetaminophen, chronic alcoholism, serious kidney or liver disease, intake of other medications containing acetaminophen and salicylates.

Contraindications:

Talk to a doctor before use:

with other products containing acetaminophen, salicylates, or any other pain or fever medicine;
in persons with serious kidney or liver disease
in persons with chronic alcoholism
if you are pregnant or nursing a baby.
if you have high blood pressure
Chronic heavy alcohol users may be at increased risk of liver damage when taking more than the recommended dose of acetaminophen.

Toxicity/Adverse Reactions:

Allergic reaction such as rash or itching.

Symptoms and Treatment of Overdose:

In case of accidental overdose, even if there are no symptoms, call a doctor or Poison Control Centre at once.
