Finance
The Finance Department supports the financial
responsibilities of Apotex. The department is accountable
for planning and executing all treasury/funding activities,
including cash management, banking, short, mid and long-term
funding, risk management, and investor/capital market
relations.
The department also handles accounting functions, such
as:
- Budgeting
- Costing/Inventory/Management
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Financial Statements
- Liaison with internal and external customers (e.g.,
auditors, Revenue Canada, other departments)
Finance has internal auditors who are responsible for
external reporting, business advisors for decision support,
and a service department to process transactions and
interact with internal stakeholders.
